WADA to hold media session during Global Education Conference

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to invite members of the media to a media session on 20 September during the Global Education Conference in Sydney, Australia.

In addition to WADA President Witold Bańka, Vice-President Yang Yang and Director General Olivier Niggli, the media session will be attended by the Minister for Sport in the Government of Australia, the Honorable Anika Wells MP, and the CEO of Sports Integrity Australia, David Sharpe. Together, they will update the media and answer questions related to the Conference and other anti-doping activities.

For those unable to attend in person, the media session will be livestreamed via a secure platform.

Working members of the media who wish to attend the media session, whether in person or virtually, are kindly asked to register their request by sending the following information to media@wada-ama.org, no later than 5 September 2022:

  • Preference for in-person or virtual attendance
