In May 2022, the WADA Foundation Board (Board) approved a second round of governance reforms, including the creation of a Risk and Audit Committee (RAC). This independent, non-political body is a Permanent Special Committee and is composed of three members, two of which are independent experts. The third member is appointed by and from the members of the WADA Executive Committee. The RAC’s main purpose is to monitor and assist the Board with risk management and financial auditing.
