Agency invites media to attend

Further to the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA’s) communications since 20 April regarding the contamination case involving swimmers from China, WADA announces that it will virtually convene an extraordinary meeting of its Foundation Board (Board) this week as follows:

  • Date: Friday, 17 May 2024

  • Time: 07:00 EDT

  • Format: Virtual (via Zoom Webinar)

The objective of the Board meeting is to provide members with the opportunity to be further informed on this important matter by WADA experts and to be able to ask any questions that they may have.

It should be noted that, while WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) already met regarding the case on 25 April, ExCo members are also invited to observe the Board meeting.
