WADA appoints Ndiate Chaya Ndiaye and Tom May to lead two new Impact Areas: Digital Insights and Engagement & Development

Chaya Ndiaye

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to announce that, effective 1 September, Ndiate Chaya Ndiaye has joined the Management Team as the Head of Digital Insights and Tom May has assumed the role of Director, Engagement & Development. These changes have been reflected in our Organizational Structure.

New Impact Areas

In the process of developing our 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, we considered what structural adjustments would best enable us to deliver on the expectations that we set for WADA’s future. In this regard, we created two new Impact Areas—Engagement & Development and Digital Insights—to respond to the following priorities:

  • To put in place the structure to better leverage data and strategically develop our digital assets, which will help us deliver insights to improve the effectiveness of the global anti-doping system; and

  • To consolidate our engagement and development strategies through greater coordination and the use of insights to identify priority activities and regions.

These adjustments result in the Impact Areas of Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships and Program Development being dissolved into the new structure. NADO/RADO Relations will fall within the new Engagement and Development Impact Area; while Sport Movement Relations and Government Relations will be recognized as separate stakeholder liaison departments.

Alongside the creation of Digital Insights, the expertise department formerly known as IT, Data, and Digital Development has been renamed IT & Cybersecurity. Security is a critical consideration for our organization and we want to ensure that our strong commitment to safeguarding data and our systems is reflected in our structure.
