SAVE THE DATE: Join us in celebrating Play True Day 2024 on 19 April

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) invites the global anti-doping community to save the date of 19 April to celebrate Play True Day 2024, a digital campaign dedicated to promoting clean sport and raising awareness of doping prevention.  

We invite athletes, National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations, Sports Federations, Governments, Major Event Organizers, and all other anti-doping stakeholders around the world to join us as #OnePlayTrueTeam in the biggest celebration of clean sport.  

In the coming weeks, WADA will provide branded ‘Play True Day’ visuals that stakeholders can personalize and share in support of the campaign.  

Please stay tuned for more details and, in the meantime, we would kindly ask you to start preparing to celebrate by sharing this message with athletes and others within your network. 

History of Play True Day 

The inspiration for Play True Day stems from a WADA-hosted Education Conference in 2013, which was attended by 17 Latin American countries. While Play True Day started as a small Latin American initiative, WADA’s digital campaign now reaches millions of people each year, with numerous individuals and organizations taking part from around the globe.
