The Endocrine Working Group has been created to provide expert advice, recommendations and guidance to WADA's Leadership Team with regards to methods for the detection of prohibited substances modulating endocrine pathways not directly linked to steroid doping or hematopoiesis, with a focus on GH (Growth Hormone)-related pathways including, for example, GH, its fragments and releasing factors, insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and its analogues.
