WADA to hold 2022 Athlete Biological Passport Symposium in October in India

save the date abp symposium

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) invites stakeholders to ‘save the dates’ for WADA’s third edition of its Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) Symposium, which will be held from 12 October to 14 October 2022 in New Delhi, India. This event is being organized with the support of India’s National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) and National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL).

The Symposium will gather anti-doping stakeholders that are involved in all aspects of ABP programs -- including testing, administration, expert reviews and results management -- in order to promote harmonization of practice and an exchange of knowledge and lessons learned from ABP cases. Representatives from National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations; International Federations; Athlete Passport Management Units; WADA-accredited laboratories; along with experts who review passports, are all invited to take part.

Further details concerning the Symposium, including a draft agenda and logistical information, will be provided when registration opens during the second quarter of 2022.

Although the Symposium is intended to be relevant for all anti-doping stakeholders that are involved with ABP programs at the administrative, technical and legal levels, please feel free to inquire whether or not this event would be suitable for you by contacting Ms. Elizabeth Adams at ABPSymposium@wada-ama.org.

We look forward to welcoming many in New Delhi.
