Frédéric Donzé

Director, European Regional Office and International Federations Relations

Frédéric Donzé became the Director of WADA’s European Regional Office and International Federations Relations on February 1, 2011. He is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Prior to assuming this role, Frédéric Donzé was an integral part of the WADA Team at the Headquarters in Montreal, starting in September 2002. He initially joined WADA as Manager and was subsequently promoted to Senior Manager, Media Relations and Communications. As one of the Agency’s longest serving employees, he was involved in the majority of the Agency’s programs. He served as the Agency’s primary spokesperson and produced, or contributed to, most of WADA’s public content.
 
Before joining WADA, Frédéric Donzé worked as a journalist and editor for various Swiss print media outlets. The last position he held as a journalist was as Sports Editor of Le Temps newspaper in Geneva, where he covered matters related to the Olympic Movement, as well as social and political issues related to sport.
 
Frédéric Donzé holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Lausanne and a graduate degree in public relations management from McGill University in Montreal.
