ADAMS version 3.0:
We are pleased to confirm that a new and enhanced version of the athlete whereabouts interface in ADAMS will be available on November 22, 2011. The launch of this improved user interface for athletes is the first step in improving ADAMS so it becomes a more user-friendly, modern and intuitive system for all types of users.
The delivery of an improved whereabouts module has been of the highest priority for WADA and we are confident it will be well received by athletes already using ADAMS to submit their whereabouts information, as well as those using ADAMS for the first time.
The new whereabouts system is the result of extensive consultation, including an athlete review and practical feedback from the anti-doping community. A highlight of the new system will be the incorporation of an integrated whereabouts guide which will help athletes in a Registered Testing Pool to understand the whereabouts requirements, and how to comply with them in a step-by-step fashion.
In order to provide a tutorial on its use we herewith present to you a first version of an interactive presentation introducing the new Whereabouts module. Although not in its final state, we hope that this preliminary version of the presentation will already be of benefit to help provide adequate support and training for your athletes as they use ADAMS for the first time or transition to the new version.
